Evacuation & Crisis Response

A practical evacuation model that connects planning, people and operational response.

Stratum Global Risk develops organisation specific evacuation and crisis response plans, connects employees through Global Traveller, and remains available to support activation without charging a separate annual evacuation retainer.

Preparedness Without the Retainer

Traditional evacuation planning is often delivered as a static document, developed remotely and supported through an annual retainer regardless of whether the capability is ever used. Stratum takes a different approach. We build the plan, connect the people it is designed to protect, and maintain a live operational support layer through Global Traveller. The result is an evacuation capability designed to work in practice, not simply a plan held on file.

1. Evacuation & Crisis Response Plan

Every organisation has different people, locations, routes, dependencies and decision-making structures. Stratum develops an organisation specific plan covering crisis triggers, employee accountability, primary and alternate movement options, assembly points, medical contingencies, defendents, transport requirements and escalation procedures. The objective is to establish a practical operating framework that can be activated when conditions change.

2. Global Traveller for Employee Visibility and Communication

An evacuation plan is only effective if an organisation can locate, communicate with and support the people it is designed to protect. Employees are enrolled onto Global Traveller, providing a live operational layer that supports traveller visibility, real-time alerts, mass communication, two-way messaging, SOS capability and 24/7 medical, security and travel assistance. The plan and the people are connected.

3. Embedded Travel Risk Consultant — Optional

For organisations with larger regional footprints, complex travel programmes or more demanding operating environments, Stratum can provide an embedded security and travel risk consultant. The consultant can support day-to-day travel risk management, monitor regional developments, maintain evacuation assumptions, review routes and movement options, support traveller accountability and assist management during escalation. Embedded support can be structured around the organisation’s operating model and geographic footprint.

4. No Annual Evacuation Retainer

Stratum does not charge organisations an annual fee simply to keep an evacuation plan on file. The commercial structure is straightforward:

Plan Development — a one-time fee to develop the Evacuation & Crisis Response Plan.

Global Traveller Memberships — annual employee memberships providing the live traveller visibility, communication and 24/7 assistance layer.

Embedded Consultant — optional, where dedicated in-country or regional support is required.

Activation and Response — operational response is charged when the capability is actually used, together with any required third-party costs.

From Plan to Operational Capability

A crisis response plan should not sit on a shared drive waiting for an emergency. It should be connected to current traveller information, live communications, practical movement options and an operations team capable of coordinating the response. That is the difference between having an evacuation plan and having an evacuation capability.
